On my way back I met a deer. After observing me for some time, it moved away from the shore, into the bush, letting me pass.
Only then did I notice a fawn foraging in the bush. The family reunited and moved away through the thick undergrowth.
After returning to my camp by late afternoon, I had finished the dinner and listened to the forecast on my VHF radio. There was nothing drastic or new: fog in the morning, wind building up in the afternoon. Then I had packed everything I could for the next day departure and went to bed.
